Negotiations for the transfer of Barcelona attacking midfielder Arda Turan to Arsenal are expected to resume next month, The Sun has confirmed.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a possible move to North London but he refused to answer questions on his future earlier this year.
The Turkish international has struggled to make an impact at the Nou Camp since his £24million move from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015.
Recent reports in England have claimed that the experienced midfielder will be the one to take over from Germany international Mesut Ozil who is yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners.
Turan was already linked with a move to Arsenal last summer but eventually opted to stay with the Spanish giants.
